Cyprus is divided into six administrative districts, each of which is further divided into municipalities and communities. The six districts of Cyprus are:

  • Nicosia: This is the largest district in Cyprus and includes the capital city of Nicosia. It is located in the central part of the island.
  • Limassol: This district is located on the southern coast of the island and includes the city of Limassol.
  • Larnaca: This district is located on the southeastern coast of the island and includes the city of Larnaca.
  • Paphos: This district is located on the southwestern coast of the island and includes the city of Paphos.
  • Famagusta: This district is located in the eastern part of the island and includes the towns of Paralimni and Ayia Napa.
  • Kyrenia: This district is located in the northern part of the island and includes the town of Kyrenia.
