Denmark is divided into five regions:
- Capital Region of Denmark (Region Hovedstaden): Includes the capital city, Copenhagen, and is known for its cultural scene and landmarks.
- Central Denmark Region (Region Midtjylland): Located in central Jutland, it offers diverse landscapes and is centered around the city of Aarhus.
- Region of Southern Denmark (Region Syddanmark): Situated in southern Denmark, it features coastal towns and sandy beaches.
- North Denmark Region (Region Nordjylland): Covers the northernmost part of mainland Denmark, known for its coastal areas and national parks.
- Zealand Region (Region Sjælland): Surrounds the island of Zealand, housing Copenhagen and attractions like Roskilde and Stevns Klint.
