Cuba is divided into 15 provinces and one special municipality. The provinces include Pinar del Río, Artemisa, La Habana, Mayabeque, Matanzas, Cienfuegos, Villa Clara, Sancti Spíritus, Ciego de Ávila, Camagüey, Las Tunas, Holguín, Granma, Santiago de Cuba, and Guantánamo. The special municipality is Isla de la Juventud. Each province has its own distinct characteristics, ranging from beautiful beaches and historic cities to agricultural areas and natural landscapes.
