Indonesia(ID)

Indonesian is divided into 34 provinces. Provinces are further divided into 340+ regencies and 90+ cities (kabupaten, kota). Regencies and Cities are subdivided into districts (kecamatan).

Indonesia is divided into administrative divisions at different levels. The highest level is the provinces, of which there are 38 in Indonesia, each with its own governor. Provinces are further divided into regencies and cities, which have equal administrative functions but cities are generally more urbanized and economically active. Subdistricts and villages are the smallest administrative divisions. This hierarchical system allows for efficient governance and decision-making at the local level.
