Mexico(MX)

The United Mexican States (Spanish: Estados Unidos Mexicanos) is a Federal Republic composed of 32 Federal entities: 31 States and 01 "federal district" (Mexico City).

The States are divided into Municipalities (Spanish: municipios).

Mexico is divided into 32 parts, called federal entities. These are made up of 31 states and the capital city, which is also called the Federal District. Each state has its own government that takes care of things within that state. The states are also divided into smaller parts called municipalities, each with its own local government.
