  • The Governorates of Palestine are administrative divisions of the Palestinian territories in the West Bank and Gaza Strip.
  • There are 16 Governorates in Palestine, with 11 located in the West Bank and 5 in the Gaza Strip.
  • The Governorates in the West Bank are: Jerusalem, Jenin, Tulkarm, Nablus, Qalqilya, Salfit, Ramallah and al-Bireh, Jericho and Al-Aghwar, Bethlehem, and Hebron.
  • The Governorates in the Gaza Strip are: North Gaza, Gaza, Deir el-Balah, Khan Yunis, and Rafah.
