Liberia is divided into 15 counties. Counties are subdivided into 90 districts. Districts are further subdivided into clans.

Central African Republic is divided into 16 prefectures (Banguic). Prefectures are further divided into 71 sub-prefectures (sous-préfectures). Sub-prefectures are further divided into 170+ communes.

Ireland is divided into 28 counties and 3 cities. These are further divided into 2 metropolitan districts, 4 borough districts 89 municipal districts.

Lebanon is divided into 6 governorates (mohaafazaat, Arabic: محافظات‎). Governorates are subdivided into 25 districts (aqdya). Districts are further subdivided into municipalities (nahiyah).
